Catalyst has provided solutions to this question since 1991. As a Cause & Partnership Marketing Agency, we recognize the efficiency and effectiveness of Community Organizations and Corporations in developing a unified approach to achieve these goals. In all too many cases, the approach of uniting a Corporation and an Community Organization has, resulted in a more superficial relationship including minimal creativity and delivering little differentiation in delivering the desired results.
This traditional approach, though effective to some degree in raising funds for the Community Organization and differentiating the Corporation, can and has been improved upon. Catalyst is unique in having developed programs that deliver far greater results through integrated cause partnerships.

To prepare for the year, the United Nations Volunteers programme (UNV) has been designated the international focal point. Aiming at increased recognition, facilitation, networking and promotion of volunteering, the International Year of Volunteers 2001 (IYV) provides a unique opportunity to highlight the achievements of the millions of volunteers worldwide who devote some time of their lives to serving others, and to encourage more people globally to engage in volunteer activity.
